Okta Engineer

Assurit is currently seeking an experienced Okta Engineer to support one of our projects!

Location: Remote

Required Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of SSO/federated authentication methods (SAML, OIDC) and their components
• Experience with SCIM and JIT provisioning
• Experience integrating on-premise applications with a SSO solution
• Experience with Okta SSO
• Experience standing up a new Okta organization
• Experience integrating multiple IdPs using SAML
• Understanding of legacy authentication methods such as Kerberos and Header authentication
• Experience making API calls to the Okta API or another Identity Provider API
• Able to effectively present SSO concepts to clients with various levels of technical understanding
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Additional Qualifications:

• Okta Certified Administrator or higher
• Experience with Okta CIAM
• Experience integrating an IdP such as Okta with an IGA system such as SailPoint
• Experience configuring proof-of-concept demo environments
• Experience customizing authentication UI using authentication SDK
• Advanced Authentication and SSO OKTA Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Four (4) year degree in appropriate technical field from an accredited institution
