ISSO – Cloud & Web Applications

Assurit is currently seeking multiple experienced ISSO to support one of our projects!

Location: Hybrid (must reside in DC/MD/VA area)

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have 3 to 5 years of direct ISSO experience with RMF-based organizations
• Must be knowledgeable with NIST Publications such as NIST SP 800-53 Revision 4 & 5
• Must be able to provide oversight over the assigned system’s Continuous Monitoring activities such as POA&M Remediation, Vulnerability Management, and Configuration Management
• Must be able to provide security SME support for new system changes, modifications, and enhancements to ensure that the most viable, compliant, and cost-effective solutions are implemented.
• Must have experience with creating, developing, tailoring, and managing Security documentation (SSP, PIA/PTA, SAR, ISRA, POA&Ms)
• Must be able to act as an agency liaison (on behalf of the CISO) when engaging Federal and external partners pertaining to security & privacy compliance
• Must able to self-manage, track, and report on security initiatives associated to the individual’s assigned system
• Demonstrated experience with developing enterprise cybersecurity policies and procedures is a plus
• Demonstrated experience with analyzing vulnerability scan reports from multiple tools
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services and Technology is a plus
• Experience with MARS-E, IRS Pub 1075, and SSA Security & Privacy standards is a plus
