FAA eFAST Master Ordering Agreement

eFAST

Assurit, an award-winning, pure play cybersecurity firm, has been awarded a Master Ordering Agreement (MOA) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under the Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) Program.

eFAST Overview

The eFAST Program is the FAA’s preferred contracting vehicle for small business contracts. eFAST streamlines the procurement process for all stakeholders using a web-based acquisition tool and automated workflows compliant with applicable FAA standards. It is a multi-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) offering a broad technical scope, streamlined and flexible contract and award types, and a comprehensive list of labor categories with fixed ceiling rates. eFAST can be used agency-wide across the FAA and DoT.

Assurit has qualified and is eligible to participate in the procurement process for contract awards in the following subset of Functional Areas:

  • Business Administration & Management (BAM)
  • Computer/Information Systems Development (CSD)
  • Computer Systems Support (CSS)

eFAST offers several contracting advantages:

  • Socioeconomic credit for ordering activity
  • An SB Set-Aside contract vehicle that is FAA-specific
  • Pre-qualified Small Businesses for general past performance and technical capabilities
  • No Subcontracting burden fees
  • Multiple contract types that include fixed price, cost reimbursement, time-and-materials, and labor hours

“Assurit is extremely excited to support the FAA and bring our expertise to their vital functions. This award will further enable us to expand our reach and drive the missions of our Federal customers. eFAST creates a win-win scenario for the FAA and small businesses, and we look forward to making a positive impact.”

– Sunny K. Tuteja, President and CEO

About FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the largest transportation agency of the U.S. government and regulates all aspects of civil aviation in the country as well as over surrounding international waters. Its powers include air traffic management, certification of personnel and aircraft, setting standards for airports, and protection of U.S. assets during the launch or re-entry of commercial space vehicles. Powers over neighboring international waters were delegated to the FAA by authority of the International Civil Aviation Organization. Created in August 1958, the FAA replaced the former Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) and later became an agency within the U.S. Department of Transportation.
