David R. Wellington

David Wellington is the Director of Operations for Assurit. He has over a decade of experience in the Information Technology field with expertise in IT project management, digital and agile transformations, software development, and strategic planning.

David’s wealth of expertise extends across the public and private sectors. He has architected and delivered innovative solutions and services to the commercial, banking, and retail sectors, as well as federal, state, and local government.

David leads the internal operations, expansion, and evolution of Assurit. His expertise ensures consistent, sustainable, and responsible growth by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes and procedures. He collaborates closely with Assurit’s leadership team to shape and perpetuate the company’s corporate mission, vision, and strategy.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration from George Mason University. He also holds several certifications including AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and the SAFe Agilist Certification issued by Scaled Agile.
