Assurit’s 8(a) STARS III Contract Extended Through 2029

FAIRFAX, Va., June 11, 2026 — Assurit is pleased to announce that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has exercised the option period on Assurit’s 8(a) STARS III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), extending the contract ordering period through July 1, 2029.

The extension enables federal agencies to continue accessing Assurit’s cybersecurity and information technology services through one of the federal government’s premier Best-in-Class acquisition vehicles for IT solutions.

Originally awarded in 2022, the 8(a) STARS III GWAC provides federal agencies with a streamlined procurement path for innovative IT services from qualified 8(a) small businesses. The contract vehicle supports a broad range of technology requirements, including cybersecurity, cloud services, digital transformation, and IT modernization initiatives.
