Assurit Announces Growth in Leadership Team 

Fairfax, VA, September 20, 2023 – Assurit, a nationwide provider of cybersecurity services and solutions, has hired David Wellington as its new Director of Operations. David has over a decade of experience in the Information Technology field with expertise in IT project management, digital and agile transformations, software development, and strategic planning. David’s wealth of expertise extends across the public and private sectors — he has architected and delivered innovative solutions and services to the commercial, banking, and retail sectors, as well as federal, state, and local government. David will lead the internal operations, expansion, and evolution of Assurit. His expertise will ensure consistent, sustainable, and responsible growth by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes and procedures. He will collaborate closely with Assurit’s leadership team to shape and perpetuate the company’s corporate mission, vision, and strategy.

Assurit’s previous Director of Operations, Denise Pho, has received a promotion to Vice President of Human Resources and Client Services. In her new role, Denise will be focused on bridging the gap between employee well-being, organizational, and client goals. With an acute focus on nurturing a dynamic work environment, Denise will ensure that Assurit team members are empowered and engaged, driving the highest standards of performance. Denise will also engage directly with all clients to ensure all contractual obligations are being met, and customers receive the highest level of support.

These new changes in Assurit’s leadership team come at a critical time of growth as Assurit expands further into the public and private sectors. The company has experienced significant year-over-year growth since its founding in 2013 and has recently acquired several new contracts through it’s expanding partner-base and award of new governmentwide acquisition contracts.
