AssurIT have a long established pedigree of providing high quality AS/400, iSeries, System i5, Intel and desktop/laptop support to many companies. During the late 1990's there was a growing demand for IT outsourcing from smaller UK based companies. Traditionally it was only large companies often with global presence that employed similarly large companies such as IBM and EDS to provide IT outsourced solutions.

Founded in 1994, AssurIT has grown conservatively in order to position itself with an established reputation providing IT outsourcing solutions to the smaller and mid sized UK based businesses. With this approach we have become agile and responsive to our clients by providing them with client driven solutions, rather than forcing an existing product or solution fit.

In 2006 IBM appointed AssurIT to build and deliver the IBM SHARP service, providing System i5 High Availability as a managed service. The service is 100% delivered and managed by AssurIT on behalf of IBM and boasts a significant number of satisfied users.

AssurIT operates from a purpose-built data centre near Coventry (see location map) with links to High Availability suites strategically located in the UK. Each data centre features 24-hour site security and highly resilient power, communications and environmental controls. AssurIT also operates data centre synchronisation, which enables us to offer our customers many benefits including mirroring, high availability, clustering as well as disaster recovery at a fraction of their usual cost.
